My comfort zone has always been, well… comfortable. But an alumni breakfast at my university today inspired me to take a chance. Knock down the walls that stand in your way. Be persistent, and put yourself out there.
This is the first step in trying the things I would usually talk myself out of.People say to me that I’ll never get a job in the journalism industry. But journalism isn’t impossible. Everything is possible.
Journalism is just storytelling, and you don’t have to have your name in print to tell your story.
So, as I mark my 20th birthday with nothing but the usual monotony, it also marks the end of the usual monotony. If life begins at the end of your comfort zone, then this is only the beginning.
